Market Day at Essaouira
The port city of Essaouira sits on Morocco's wild and windy Atlantic coast, its medina protected by 18th-century seafront ramparts called the Skala de la Kasbah. Famed for its rows of vivid blue fishing boats lining the docks, the fish market is considered the largest of its kind in Africa.
